A note about my glasses shopping experience: I have never owned adult frames. The lovely pair you see above, in fact, is from the children's section as well (thank you, Juicy Couture, for making children's frames without a Sesame Street character on the side...). My eyes are ridiculously close together and and I have a tiny face. So tiny that out of the 8 pairs I had narrowed down as my "final" selections, the assistant eliminated 6 of them right out of the gate for being too huge for my face. That's right. Six children's frames were too HUGE for my face. Oh, and here's a note for you, mom: the doctor asked where you were and what you were up do that day (obviously wondering why I would be sent to shop for such an expensive purchase without my parents...). I told her you were in Nebraska, but I was sure you were doing well. Perhaps if I had been shopping for ADULT frames, she may have asked about my husband or son.... I'm happy with my selection, though. And the upside is that kid's frames are generally cheaper : )
Where'd ya get those peepers?
I got new glasses for the first time in 6 years. I have been so amazed at how clear everything is (and how non-bent the frames are...) that I don't want to take them off. I haven't put my contacts in for 2 days now...but I suppose I'll bite the bullet tomorrow so my eyes don't forget how to wear them.

I Love your new glasses!! You look adorable....young...but adorable :] I wish I could feel confident enough to wear a pair of dark frames....I always chicken out and keep with the wire rims. I too have the small face so I understand the small selection. Believe me, some day you will out grow the young remarks....and you will miss that. Just smile and get a chuckle out it for as long as you can.
