We took Lincoln to the zoo yesterday. The weather was perfect--overcast, in the 70s, slight breeze. The zoo wasn't very crowded and we could easily see all the exhibits because the crowds were so thin. A lot of the animals were sleeping since we came during the middle of the afternoon, but there were a few wide-eyed and moving around. Lincoln's favorite thing he saw was a large misting fan. Much more entertaining than sleeping bears and lions.
We bought a family membership, so I'm looking forward to going back!
(clockwise from top left: mama and Lincoln at the primates exhibit; lemurs!; Lincoln taking in the zoo from way up high; a friendly giraffe.)
clockwise from top left: watching the zoo keeper feed the pelicans; Lincoln took this picture of me all by himself--impressive lack of blurriness!; Lincoln's sign for turtle; with Aunt Breanne and Luvie, watching the giraffes.
Looks like a great day! :) Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDelete"Bought" a "Membership"?! Man, I'm spoiled living in St. Louis. Free zoos rule! :-)
