Also. I went to the thrift store last week to look for a basket in which to keep all of our books. Came up empty handed in the basket department, but check out my other finds:
I'm a sucker for pretty glasses and vases. The blue tins I intend to use to plant herbs, and the frame is for a print I got for Lincoln's room. Not pictured: an awesome easel I found for $4.99! It just needs a coat of paint and Lincoln will be well on his way to a little art corner : )
I LOVE those glasses. I am still kicking myself over not snatching up these fabulous green hob-alicious glasses at my favorite thrift store months ago.

ReplyDeleteahhhh, i love thrift stores! do you have any favorite places to go? i could use some new ideas. goodwill and the ones in league city are all i really know of around here.

ReplyDeleteErika--I found this stuff at the Goodwill. I also like the little antique mall on Hwy 3 behind the library. I'm always looking for new places, though!
