Peas and Whipped Cream

Wednesday, September 23, 2009
Bet you've never tried that combo before.  Apparently, it's all the rage with 9 month olds.  You see, if you have a baby that refuses to eat, all you have to do is offer him a tiny bit of whipped cream from your spoon (that has been eating apple snicker salad off your own plate...yes, apple snicker salad.  It's real and it can be yours, this coming Sunday when I share it on Sunday Suppers...).  Tiny bit of whipped cream from mom, quickly followed by huge spoonful of peas from dad.  Repeat until done.  Amazing results will be yours.

*please note most bites of whipped cream were mere droplets...we don't actually feed our baby spoonfuls of whipped cream in order to get him to eat his peas.  But we're not above allowing him to think he is getting spoonfuls of whipped cream in order to get him to eat his peas, either.

Tiny bite of whipped cream....
Followed by a quick chaser of peas....

Success!

  1. Are you sure some of the peas made it down his throat? He looks like he is wearing most of them! Lincoln, Grandma loves peas :]
