95 and counting...

This is my 95th post. In 5 more posts, I will be at my 100th post--wow! I have seen people celebrate this occasion with various giveaways, questionnaires, posts listing 100 things about themselves.... I have been pondering what to do over here, myself. And, after much deliberation, have decided that my 100th post will be the perfect time to share my super exciting announcement! I'll just go ahead and say up front that it the news isn't that Lincoln is going to become an Irish twin (because I know when the words "exciting announcement" are uttered, the first thought that comes to mind is "She's pregnant!"--so let's just get that out of the way now) : )

Really, the announcement will help to explain why my posting has been so sporadic lately (can anyone remember the last Sunday Supper? We've got to go back at least a few weeks here....). Now the challenge to myself--do I whip up 5 posts real quick tonight so I can get on with the announcement tomorrow? Do I continue my post when I can grab a few minutes style? Do I plan on a post a day for the next 5 days leading up to the announcement on the 30th? Decisions, decisions!

Now changing topics abruptly...that ellipse signifies my smooth segue into a random stream of babbling....

Wanted to say congratulations to my friend A over at monkey's on the bed! She won a sweet award over at Living Locurto!

The internet is a buzz with the news that Michael Jackson has died.  My brother and I spent many an hour dancing to Thriller in our living room when we were little.

If you haven't checked out my friend Sam's post about going green, please do. So many awesome ways to make your everyday living a little more earth friendly.

I ordered a bouquet of these yesterday and can. not. wait. to get them. I have the perfect place picked out for them on my mantel!

It is thundering outside! I can't remember the last time it rained here. Neither can my brown grass.

Lincoln is currently sitting with Lucas' mom (who is visiting us this week) and is mesmerized by this video. It still holds his attention, 5 months later!

I love these shoes. I am not a shoe person but these shoes have the potential to make me want to be a shoe person.


This is my new favorite picture of Lucas and Lincoln. I love how happy Lincoln looks--like he is saying, "hey, look at me with my daddy! we're just hanging out together and it's so much fun!"
