Too much?

We got Lincoln a jumper from Craig's List over the weekend.  My midwife had a jumper for her daughter and she would bounce and bounce whenever we were there for appointments--she looked liked she was having so much fun, we always said when Lincoln was old enough, we'd get him one.  So, we did!  He isn't quite sure about it yet (see his expression above...), but we think he'll grow to like it.  We might have to deactivate the lights and sounds (or maybe take off some of the toys and not give him a book and rattle at the same time...)...might be a bit too overstimulating that way, you think?

  1. We never had one of those, but the G-man's daycare got one last spring. That was the saving grace at daycare! He hated daycare and cried A LOT until the day they got that! I think he spent a lot of time in there, but he was happy! I bet Lincoln will learn to love it very soon!

  2. I'm sure as he gets older it will become a favorite toy! My daughter had this great Exer-saucer when she was a baby, and silly me got rid of it, thinking she was the end of babies for me, and I had the hardest time finding one for Fionn that I liked last year...so i searched until I found the same one that I had for her. It's not a lot of lights and sound, more squeaky and rattles and such. He LOVED it until he decided it was "jail" and now it's been retired to the attic. A lot of people are against walkers too, but Fionn LOVED his as well. If you happen to find a JEEP one on craigslist that i give it a TWO thumbs up!

  4. He does look adorable! C loved her jumparoo but now she finds it scary...a weird reversal. I hope he likes it! At the very least, its great to have a stationery toy that can occupy the babe while you shower :)
